elnablase asked: Hi. Have you been to Angkor Wat in Cambodia? What are the protocols for visitors there, if any? Thanks! :)
Hi, yes, I’ve been to the Angkor Wat in Cambodia. I went there with a tour guide so she took care of everything. But one of the things she told us was to avoid wearing sleeveless shirts and super short shorts. You also need to purchase a temple pass to get in the Angkor Wat, but it also lets you visit all the other temples in Siem Reap. :) And don’t forget the sunscreen.
Live tiger cub found in suitcase at Thai airport
Bangkok, Thailand (CNN) — A live tiger cub hidden in a suitcase filled with stuffed toys was spotted as it went through a luggage X-ray at a major Thai airport, a wildlife trade monitoring network said.
Events like these make me think that I definitely want to adopt a tiger, a polarbear, a panda and an elephant when I grow up (financially). They do have those adopt (insert endangered species here) programs out there, me thinks. I do hope they give me unlimited visitation rights at the zoo too~
I’m currently working on the revisions of our thesis. There’s still a lot to do, but it’s interesting that I manage to find the solutions to menial problems like solving for the pearson’s correlation in google. Which made my job much easier. So now, I’m reading one of the academic journals, about the financial market and its relation to the national culture and this is what I found in it.
Stress is a subjective experience. ‘Stress is in the eye of the beholder. If you think you are under stress, you are under stress’ (Pettigrew, 1972).
Just a little food for thought :)
