Thesis
I’m currently working on the revisions of our thesis. There’s still a lot to do, but it’s interesting that I manage to find the solutions to menial problems like solving for the pearson’s correlation in google. Which made my job much easier. So now, I’m reading one of the academic journals, about the financial market and its relation to the national culture and this...

Good news and bad news.
Just got home from Cambodia and Vietnam today. Both awesome places. Cambodia’s filled with incredible temples, I want to go on a landscape photography trip there! Vietnam’s filled with the remnants of the civil war but Meikong River did find a place in my heart. It was just amazing really. I got to see, touch and experience all the temple settings and river settings in movies. Summer...

Two Places I want to go to.
I’m getting bored with my regular haunts. I want to see something new. So today, I discovered there are two places I want to go to. Pagsanhan Falls and The Philippine Eagle Center. I discovered that getting to Pagsanhan Falls isn’t quite as simple as I thought it was. Getting there means going for a LONG road trip, going up a mountain by car and riding a boat for 30 mins, and the...

CAPTCHA
Every wonder what those images websites asks us to type to authenticate that there is indeed a human interacting with it? It’s called CAPTCHA (pronounced /ˈkæptʃə/)  - which stands for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.

Look up!
I have this strange habit of looking up at night. Checking out what phase the moon is, or which constellation is out at night. Tonight, I saw one of the most beautiful sights. The moon was full, bright and white against the flawless and incredibly dark midnight blue sky. Illuminating the place where I stood. Clouds like cotton being pulled floated quickly and passing it by. Sometimes it acted...

An excerpt from Chapter 4 of Hinds’ Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard. “I have often wondered about the wildflowers” she said. “It does seem strange that such unnumbered multitudes should bloom in the wild places of the earth where perhaps nobody ever sees them and the goats and cattle can walk over them and crush them to death. They have so much beauty and...
