Look up!
I have this strange habit of looking up at night. Checking out what phase the moon is, or which constellation is out at night.
Tonight, I saw one of the most beautiful sights. The moon was full, bright and white against the flawless and incredibly dark midnight blue sky. Illuminating the place where I stood. Clouds like cotton being pulled floated quickly and passing it by. Sometimes it acted like it is a filter and you can see circular halos surrounding the moon. I could spend the entire night watching it course its path. Stars shone silently beside the moon. It was all too beautiful to let it go unnoticed.
And as always, I wondered, what is that star that has a reddish hue? Why is it so different from all the others that are just white? Is it Venus?
I wish I could take a picture, but I didn’t have my camera with me.
