Two Places I want to go to.

I’m getting bored with my regular haunts. I want to see something new. So today, I discovered there are two places I want to go to. Pagsanhan Falls and The Philippine Eagle Center.

I discovered that getting to Pagsanhan Falls isn’t quite as simple as I thought it was. Getting there means going for a LONG road trip, going up a mountain by car and riding a boat for 30 mins, and the ride would actually cost P500 pesos :-/ But this idea is a bit more realistic than idea number two. Going to the Philippine Eagle Center because it’s in Davao. But one day, I’ll go there… and I’ll name an eagle. :D

I was inspired by Prof. T to Google them when he told us that Philippine eagles actually know when they’ll die, and when they do, they perch on something, face the sunset, and die as the sun sinks into the horizon. I didn’t find anything about what he said, but what I did find is that they are majestic and at the same time, under appreciated.  They are one of the largest and rarest eagles in the world and they choose one mate for the rest of their lives. It’s just amazing, and we are lucky that God chose to put these eagles in our country. It is sad that there are those who just hunt them down for food. As per records, there are only 150-500 eagles out there. I wish I could do more for these eagles.
